Destiny provides a number of investment portfolios including the Conservative and Moderate Portfolios that have long track records of first place positions in their respective classes over a number of reporting periods. Members have the option (subject to their Participating Employer’s Rules) of nominating any of the Portfolios or a combination thereof.

The Trustees with the support of GIB Financial Services Investment Committee select asset managers divide by asset classes and monitor performance on an ongoing basis.

Destiny offers withdrawing members the opportunity to continue participating in the Destiny basket of investment options via Destiny’s Preservation Funds.

Members may transfer their withdrawal benefits tax-free at low cost whilst retaining the past service benefit that ultimately provide tax concessions at Normal Retirement Age.

When withdrawing from service, Destiny Retirement Fund members are able to mirror the portfolios they previously selected so that there is no interruption in their financial plan.  Non-members are able to participate in the investment portfolios to which they previously had no access.
